When to hand work to Agency Label instead

You have two production departments: your agent, reviewed by you, and Agency Label's white-label team of AI-enhanced developers and marketers, delivering under your brand. This lesson is the honest decision rule for which work goes where. There is no wrong answer, only wrong fits.

How routing works

In the platform, every request is assigned to an executor: your agent, your team, or Agency Label. You set a default per client ("this client's work goes to AL," "this one my agent handles") and override per request when it makes sense. The client experience is identical either way: their portal, your brand, work delivered. Routing is an operations decision, invisible to the people paying you.

Route to Agency Label when

  • You want zero production involvement. Some operators are pure sellers, and the wholesale model exists exactly for them: known wholesale cost, your retail on top, margin visible before you sell (Module 6).
  • The work exceeds your review confidence: complex builds, e-commerce, tricky migrations. A studio with designers and senior review behind it is the right tool.
  • You are at capacity. Your queue is full, the deal is closed, and buying delivery is better business than delaying it.
  • The stakes are high: a flagship client, a site launch tied to a campaign date, anything where a miss costs the relationship.

Self-fulfill when

  • The work is inside your skills: boilerplate builds, care-plan edits, landing pages, the request loop's bread and butter. Your margin is best here.
  • Speed is the point. Your agent starts now, not in a queue.
  • You are building your edge. Every reviewed request makes your skills sharper; early on, that learning is worth real money.
The mature answer for most agencies is a mix: agent handles the recurring flow, AL handles the big builds and the overflow. The point of having both is never having to say no to good revenue and never having to gamble on work you cannot stand behind.

Margin honesty, one more time

Self-fulfilled work has near-zero delivery cost but a real cost in your attention, and your attention is the sales department. If an hour of review time displaces an hour of outreach that would have created a client, the "free" delivery was the most expensive option available. Run that math honestly as you grow; it is the real reason routing exists.
