Module 4 · Attract Clients

Build your lead list

Lesson 11 of 23 · 5 min read

A pipeline starts with a list. For local service niches this is almost too easy: the businesses are public, listed, and conveniently ranked by how badly they need you.

Where to find them

  • Local search: "[niche] in [city]". Everyone on page two and beyond needs you most.
  • Industry directories and association member lists.
  • The ten worst websites you saved back in Module 2.
  • Ad libraries (Meta, Google): businesses already paying for marketing are warm.

What to capture for each

  • Business name, owner name if findable, phone, email, current website URL.
  • One specific problem with their current site: slow, no mobile, ugly, no call-to-action. That note is your opener.
Fifty prospects with a specific note each beat five hundred names with nothing to say. The note is the whole game.

This is exactly what clients.wtf automates: building and enriching lists and flagging who is worth your time. By hand at first or with the tool, the principle is identical: a list, with a real reason to reach out to each one.

This is the part most people skip.

The lessons are free. The delivery is the hard part, and that's ours. When you're ready to put a client's site in front of a real studio, book a call.
