Module 2 · Pick Your Niche

Researching your market in an hour

Lesson 6 of 23 · 5 min read

You do not need a market report. You need enough to sound like you belong. One focused hour gets you there.

What to find

  • What their current websites look like. Pull up ten of them. Note what is bad and common (slow, ugly, no clear call to action, no mobile).
  • What they care about. Search their industry forums and Reddit. What do they complain about? What gets them customers?
  • What they charge. Knowing their average ticket tells you what they can afford to pay you.
  • Who already markets to them. Competitors and tools tell you the language that works.
The goal is one or two sharp observations you can repeat in outreach: "Most roofers lose half their leads because their site does not work on a phone." Specific beats clever.

Save the ten worst websites you found. Those are your first prospect list and your first talking points. You will use them in Module 4.

This is the part most people skip.

The lessons are free. The delivery is the hard part, and that's ours. When you're ready to put a client's site in front of a real studio, book a call.
