Module 4 · Attract Clients

Outreach that gets replies

Lesson 12 of 23 · 6 min read

Cold outreach fails for one reason: it is about you. "Hi, I build websites, want one?" gets ignored because it is generic and self-centered. Outreach that works opens with something specific and true about them.

The structure of a message that gets a reply

  • Open with a specific observation about THEIR business: "Your site takes 8 seconds to load on my phone and the call button is broken."
  • Tie it to money: "That is costing you calls from people who would have booked."
  • Make a small, easy ask — not "buy a website" but "want a 2-minute video showing what I would fix?"
  • Keep it to three or four sentences. Respect their time.
Talk like a person who noticed something, not a salesperson running a script. Direct, no fluff, no guru energy.

Personalization at scale

You cannot hand-write a thousand of these, and you should not blast a thousand identical ones. The middle path — a strong template with a genuinely specific first line per prospect — is precisely what clients.wtf is built to do: one-to-one personalization at volume.

This is the part most people skip.

The lessons are free. The delivery is the hard part — and that's ours. When you're ready to put a client's site in front of a real studio, book a call.
